This season Emerald green is appearing everywhere! The bright
green color is perfect for the spring/summer wardrobe as it brings warmth to
any outfit. It has been announced as the color of the year by the
professionals at Pantone who describe the precious gemstone color as ‘sophisticated
and luxurious’. They believe that it’s appropriate for every occasion as ‘Emerlad’s
classic elegance makes for striking and irresistible women’s formal and every
day-wear as well as accessories’. It appears that the Duchess of Cambridge,
Kate Middleton was ahead of this trend when she wore an Emerald Mulberry Dress
back in October 2012.
