As its New York Fashion Week and #ThrowBackThursday, I've been looking back at some of the shows over the years and have re- fallen head over heels in love with Elie Tahari Spring 2012 collection. My loyalties have always lied with male designer but that year I feel his show epitomized the sexy sophistication he is famous for. The dresses where all striking in their own unique way, oozing the disco glamour that has been an inspiration of his from the start. I particularly loved the almost Grecian style black flowing number with the gold belt and straps. The bold design was extremely empowering on the model as she fiercely strode down the catwalk. Whats more, the icy blue and grey pieces shown below had something so elegant and appealing about them that made my eyes drawn to them. And of course the insane gold embellished dress below speaks for itself. The statement piece embraces feminine desirability and style to the max.
